Been awhile sine I drew a big cat, and I since don't have any ref. photos I have taken myself, went and had a look over on Paint my Photo and found one by Gary that I wanted to try to draw. While there are a pair of eyes to try and colour, the main focus is all of the fur and I need to get it looking fuzzy when I am done :) Feel out of practice with coloured pencils lol

      thanks sue :) its matte board, really like using it with coloured pencils :)

    Gary is the ultimate go to on PMP! He never disappoints. :)

    Using colored pencil is ingrained, you got this ;)

      lol I would hope that after 20 years, using coloured pencil is second nature, but nope lol yep, gary take great photos, and its so nice of him to let people use them for art :)

    Is matte board like mountboard?
    I agree Gary's photos are brilliant. Only drawback is that if you want to do competition/exhibition stuff you're normally not allowed to use other people's photos.

      yeah its just another word for mountboard :)

      not worried about exhibitions for this, just felt like drawing a big cat and I don't have an of my own ref. photos for that. For anything important, I stick to birds, have thousands of photos of birds I've taken lol
