Quick Quick

10 second sketches of an owl. This is from some photos we took in the local wildlife park, but I timed myself since being able to sketch quickly from life can be really  important when your subject moves around a lot. At least they sort of look like owls lol

  1. Super quick sketches - you are right, being quick and being able to hold a memory for a minute or two is very useful for drawing moving subjects. I think you've succeeded!

  4. 'Quick on the Draw' obviously! Well done, don't think I could do a recognisable owl in 10 seconds, I'm too obsessed with detail ... :-(

    1. I use to be obsessed with detail as well, but I think having to get projects done in a short amount of time for uni/college has made me ignore most of it and focus on the shapes as much as possible
