Eagle Update
Decided to use both ends of the scribber on this. The really really pointy end for fine detail, the shorter end for shading. Seems to work well doing that :)
Had an appointment at maxillofacial today to talk about my left jaw joint, (the "real" one :p). Probably going to have to get that replaced as well, so yay.... I said if its going to happen, do it before I have to go back to Uni since I can not afford to take off the 6 weeks+ it takes to be able to eat and talk normally again once Uni starts back full time.

Looking good! I'm so sorry you have to go through that again - that was rough. Are you all healed from the collapsing bookshelf?
ReplyDeletethanks rose :) and yeh all healed up from that and I don't have to rebuild the model since I have photos of it :)
Deleteyeah the jaw surgery was rough, not looking forward to another round :/ but i will be able to eat again lol
Hi Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteAs Nike says, "Just Do It!", but it sounds like you're set to do just that. I just signed-up to have my right eye "fixed". I should've had it done last August, but hesitated for fear of the recovery time. Ol' dopey me! It's a two-minute laser procedure and zero recovery time. It should return my right eye vision to 20-25 from the 20-400 it is now.
Best wishes with your jaw and everything else in your life.
Great new eagle, too.
Sincerely,
Gary
not set at all to do it lol but have to so that I can eat normally again lol not looking forward to having a completely numb face from them having to cut the nerve to get to the joint but will be able to eat again :)
Deletethats a big improvement with the eye surgery! good luck with that! :D
The eagle is looking good!
ReplyDeleteWow, you can't catch a break... I hope they can schedule you when you are off. And sooner rather than later. Get it over with. Big hugs!
thanks michelle :)
DeleteI'm hoping they can to since the sooner done the better
Your etchings are amazing. Always. And echoing Michelle, about never catching a break. Oh boy, hope the surgery all goes well.

DeleteI should really just camp out at the hospital considering how often i have to go there :p
