Summer of Colour #2

Flamingos @fuzzydragons.com
So for Summer of Colour Week #2, the pallete given was 2 pinks and an orange :) So of course with pink being the main colour, I needed to do flamingos :p

People have been asking me how I make these. I use Adobe Illustrator and its not that hard, just tedious if there are a lot of little sections to colour and change. And I probably don't do it the "proper" way you are supposed to but it works for me and I will probably get shown the "proper" way in Uni since I am taking Graphics :p

  9. I'm impressed with your flamingos. I get too frustrated and, as you pointed out, it fiddly, time consuming work. Sometimes you don't need to know the RIGHT way, but the way that works best for you.

  10. Oh! this is so lovely, I like the way you have used the colours. I use Photoshop and there are a 'million' different ways to do the same thing. Whatever you are doing you're 'doing it right'. Thanks so much for visiting me.

  13. Fun take on the challenge. Flamingos are a perfect subject for PINK! I don't do thing "proper" with Photoshop either. I play around until it looks good to me...likely wasting a lot of time getting there. :)
