Sunday Sketching
Might as well stick with the teeth theme I have going on lately lol This is a mold of my upper teeth done quickly with Derwent Graphik Pens, which I really like since they are water soluble, which sometimes make shading easier.
3 of the molds I've had done to make teeth guards to try to protect my teeth from me grinding them, since I was a horrible teeth grinder. My teeth were being ground down. I have horrible teeth, blame the fact that dental work in Canada is horribly expensive. Not costing me anything here so there is no panic trying to find money for a broken tooth, which happens a lot with me :(

interesting and detailed and original!
ReplyDeletethank you :)
DeleteWell I can relate... I have two partials. Never thought of drawing them....HaHa... Your drawing are great and realistic.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteNo fake teeth yet, but probably going to happen eventually lol :)
Interesting drawing Jennifer. I don't have the need for partials yet but my "granny" has a bag of these molds in her bathroom. Always wondered what they were for.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog I appreciate your kindness :-)
Under The Tea Tree
No fake teeth yet either, but wont surprise me if I have to get fake teeth eventually lol :)
Deletethe molds your granny has could be for many things, fake teeth, mouth guards to protect teeth, to have a model to go off of if she needs teeth repaired etc :)
Oh that's so fumy, making your teeth a model, not the grinding. Yes, dentistry here is awfully expensive, I have to find $3000 soon. I hope your teeth are feeling less ground.
ReplyDeleteouch $3000!, I thought $250 was bad to get one tooth pulled. Since they fix my jaw, I don't seem to be grinding as much are at all :)
DeleteLOL - glad to see someone else has them. Good for you drawing them. Great job too.
ReplyDeleteI have several of these for my night guards. My teeth move so by the time i need a new one they have to make a new mold.
You know I relate and understand.
Mine have to be heavy duty guards because I have shredded them in the past.
The cost of dental work here in the US is horribly high. I have to go to Mexico. Excellent work.
same here with the heavy duty ones lol does suck you have to travel to get affordable health care, but as long as you get good work in Mexico, guess its worth it :)
Deleteoh wow.. your sketch of them are extraordinary... love the touch of watercolour shading
ReplyDeletethanks :) its actually the ink pens with water added to it :)
