Clouded Leopard #2

Starting to look a little bit furry. Figured out what to do with all the Prismacolor pencils I have that I don't use anymore. Use them on this paper since it eats pencils and I have nothing else to use the Prismas on. They are just sitting in a drawer or a tin, gathering dust since I don't use them anymore, so the next time I use this paper I will use them. I know people would buy the Prismas I have in a tin since they were made before all the problems you get now with them, but shipping them would cost a bit and honestly, can't be bothered lol

  1. From the look of this in progress shot, no one would guess you're having any kind of trouble with the pencils. Nice job on the eyes and that fur!!

  3. What a shame when manufacturers don't take care of their product. Looking forward to seeing how this one goes!

and even after many complaints from a lot of people, nothing has changed besides the brand being sold to other companies

    1. I wouldn't waste your money on them actually, there are better coloured pencils out there to try that are of better quality

  5. I always liked them for being soft & glowing (wax based) with rich colours. How have they changed?
    And those eyes are fabulous.

    1. thanks :)

the quality of the pencils has really really gone down the last few years. They were always a soft pencil that broke more than others, but now they break a lot more. gritty leads, off centre leads making them hard to sharpen, its mostly the breakage problems I have a problem with and refuse to spend money on pencils when I don't even know if I will get to use the pencil before I sharpen the whole pencil away in trying to find a place in the lead that isn't broken
