Seal Etching

Does it make more sense now what this etching is? Alexandra guessed right with seal.  It going to take awhile to get the rock done before I starts on the seals. There are two of them on the A3 sized plate, so the rock is pretty big.

    This is shaping up very nicely Jennifer! I was surprised to read in your last post about your shaking hands. You would certainly never know by this fine artwork you do! I find my hands are shakier for fine illustrative work these days!

      Thanks Wendy :) Its the MS effecting the nerves in my arms and hands. Some days are better than others :)

Summer of Colour #3

This weeks colours for The Summer of Color are 2 purples and a yellow and this is what I did with them. Not my favorite colours so really racked my brain trying to think how I could use them and which bird to use. Decided to go with a juvenile Golden Eagle since I don't have any photos of a purple bird :p I think I prefer the black background, the yellow seems to stand out more against it. Which do you prefer?
