Finished Poly Art Dragon

I'm done working on this dragon lol. I like how it turned out but time to move on to the next thing to try to get finished in th 3 weeks before uni starts back up.

And here is a close up of a section showing all of the triangles. It can get pretty tedious with all the clicking and colouring to try to have it be a recognizable image.

There are a few ways to make this type of art. Some needing a very, very basic knowledge of programs like illustrator or Photoshop. Other ones, you can just either click around or use sliders to create the art. Some ways are better then others, it really all depends on how much control you want over your final image on which program you use. I did think about making a post with more info about the different programs, so hopefully I get time to write that since I have had a few people ask me about it.

  7. Although I think digital art is exciting ... and I love this latest one of yours, I still prefer hand-drawn pictures and sketches. Just old-fashioned I guess!! Suex

    1. Nothing wrong with old fashioned :) I would probably still be doing mostly the same if it wasn't for my new found allergies :p

  11. Your dragon looks amazing! I'm always fascinated with art created on the computer, I took an Illustrator class a year ago to learn how to create vector illustrations and such, but never got round to actually doing it after the class ended.
