Inktober #11

A new dog toy for Sky. Its a kids toy but she doesn't destroy toys like this, well not with her teeth anyway. She does shakes them pretty hard and the seams don't always appreciate the thrashing but nothing a thread and needle wont fix.

    My dog does exactly the same only I tend not to use a needle and thread!

    Oh that is such a cute toy, and it is lucky Sky doesn't want to destroy it. The Labradors want to find "The Squeak" in any soft squeaky toy.

    cindy- she does have some rope toys that have seen better days, but they are meant to be destroyed :) she does the same, the squeak must die!

This weeks colours for The Summer of Color are 2 purples and a yellow and this is what I did with them. Not my favorite colours so really racked my brain trying to think how I could use them and which bird to use. Decided to go with a juvenile Golden Eagle since I don't have any photos of a purple bird :p I think I prefer the black background, the yellow seems to stand out more against it. Which do you prefer?
