Weekly Book Wrap Up

To Catch a Highlander (MacLean Curse, #3)To Catch a Highlander by Karen Hawkins
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Not expecting much from this style of romance story besides maybe to not be as boring as it is.

Starship TroopersStarship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I am not usually into books about the military, but I enjoyed this one. An easy well written story, good amount of world building, little slow in some parts but also some good talking points made about the rights and wrongs of society at the time and present (future).

Not goofy like the movie at all, (which is good for a laugh), and not a lot of action, interesting take on military tech with the suits and weapons used.

  1. Ah, I wondered if the book title was based on the movie. I remember watching the movie years ago.

  2. Serena, book first then the movie which apparently had already started filming when the director started to read the book, which he never finished lol
