Sunday Sketches

TomBow Markers on Yupo paper. This is the first time I've actually used markers on this paper and they work really well. I think so at least.

With not a lot of pigment on the paper, you get pretty good colour coverage when you add water. I need to try some different markers to see how they react on the paper.

  1. What a beautiful peacock! I've been thinking about painting a peacock or two, well, they're on my wish list of yet to paint... Yours is looking great, I haven't tried yupo papers before.

  10. thanks Lisa :) Yupo is like a cross between paper and plastic, some people love it, some hate it lol

    thank you Victoria :)

    thanks Chris :)

    thank you Christine :)

Rose, thanks :) I'm not a fan of it with watercolour, takes too long to dry but I like it with the markers :)

thanks Neesie :) the markers are nice, not lightfast and they are watersoluble, so not for art you want to last a long time but if you are just going to scan the art they are fine to use :) the paper can be hit or miss with people :)

thanks Leslie :) you should try it :)

    thank you alarmcat :)

thanks Paula :) its not much money if you look around. might be easier to find online since its not an everyday type of paper :)
