Weekly Book Wrap Up
One lonely book read this week, and it was another zombie book. I go through phases were I read a lot of cheesy zombie books and then go back to reading "serious" stories.
Dead: Steve's Story by T.W. Brown
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I was actually surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. Its your typical zombie apocalypse story. Zombies show up, start eating people, people panic, lots of shooting and stabbing of zombies, lots of running, so nothing new there. But its the characters that make this book. Yes, you do have a few blink and you miss them characters, but the main characters in this book are written pretty decently for a zombie book, they add to the plot by their actions rather than just getting eaten. In the end, I was hoping the group would actually survive.
4 stars because I didn't think it was a waste of battery life on my tablet and like I wrote, pretty surprised at how much I liked the story.
