Finished Toucan
Finished and dry toucan done on Yupo paper. This turned into a little experiment in how the markers would react when sprayed with a lot of fixative, enough to soak the image. Allowed me to move the markers around with a brush and created a graffiti look, which I like a lot actually.
The closeups remind me of outerspace, very pretty.
Neat toucan ~ love the colors ~ very creative ~ thanks,

Very fine, I absolutely love the colors and patterns.
ReplyDeleteAs someone who loves texture, I'm loving the look of this - all those ripples and ridges and granulations make this very appealing :) Do you like working on the Yupo?
ReplyDeletethank you Alexandra ;) and i will update my newsfeeed, thank you for letting me know
ReplyDeletethanks Jo :)
Rhonda, I actually do like working on Yupo, as long as I just let it do what it wants and not try to fight it into doing what i want lol
Love THIS!!
ReplyDeleteYou are really being free with the layering of the colors and I love what you said to Rhonda - not to fight Yupo and let it do what it wants. Great advice and so true.
Looks very cool! LOVE all of the colour! I've always wanted to try that paper.
ReplyDeletethank you Julie :) I hated Yupo for the longest time. Used it again and love it, just to do more experimenting with different mediums :)
