Scribble Picnic-Flower bed

This weeks theme for Scribble Picnic is Flower bed. I couldn't think of anything other then a flower pot so not really a flower bed lol, so a bit of a cheat.

I used Painter for this with one of the oil brushes with my tablet. I just wanted a very quick loose piece, with pretty much no detail to it. And I wanted to start using my tablet again so just wanted to get use to how the pen reacts and works with the workstation.

You can see the texture created with the digital program.

  8. I think the themes are just loose guidelines so it doesn't have to be exact, as least, that's how I interpret the themes. this is good . I like how the textures looks a bit like abstract.

    have a lovely day.

  10. Beautiful and colorful ... you do well with your tablet. I find painting digitally difficult, but you seem to have mastered it :)

    thanks Serena :)

thank you lissa :) I need to think of the themes more as starting points for ideas rather then try to stick so close to them :)

    thanks Lorraine :)

  15. Doing something a bit differnt and a little brighter is perfectly fine and will keep you fresh too. Well done. You might enjoy Procreate more than Painter I suspect adn it is a very cheap application. I use it many times. Thank you, Jennifer.

See you next week, I hope, for the "fill in the blank" which starts with an "X" touching the corners within a square! I wonder what you would/will do for that? :)

  16. thank you Shashi :)

thanks Trina :) having the bigger surface tablet helps :)

thanks Michael :) I don't own any Apple products so dont think I could use Procreate. Painter isn't too bad, almost too many options lol hhmmm I have an idea for the x in the square but it will probably only get to the sketching stage lol hopefully I get time to do it :)
