Drunk Dragons #2
Starting to add flat colours to the little dragons. I plan on just leaving it flat colours with a bit of shading and some highlights, so very simple.
I've had people ask me why I have so many different art projects on the go at one time. Mostly so I don't get bored with one thing and also so if I only have 5 minutes to work on something I can just work on a digital piece rather then having to pull everything else out of drawers to work on it.

The idea of simple flat colors is really appealing. Good choice!
ReplyDeleteLike the strategy of working on different projects at the same time, too - for whatever reason. Seems to keep your work really fresh.
Nice post!
Oh these are wonderful! I like to have more than one project that I'm working on too, sometimes I like to take a step back from a piece...
ReplyDeletethanks Christine :)
ReplyDeletehappy holidays to you to martine :)
thanks Chris :) flat colours just make it easier to add shading, so its me being lazy lol
thank you Lisa :) always seems like y7ou are working on dozens of things from seeing your blog :)
I always have more than one book, and one knitting or sewing thing on the go for the same reason. It is only sensible, and I am not at all flighty.
ReplyDeleteI am flighty cindy lol :)
