I'm playing along with Jenaveve's just a minute. hmm this month.... Reading: I managed to get 3 books finished and I have 2 more on the go right now.Finished Sweet Nothings by sheila Norton, the Russian Concubine by Kate Furnivall, open house by jill mansell. 2 typical chick lit books, but the Russian Concubine was a really good book until the end, almost felt like the author couldn't figure out how to finish the book. Watching: Actually there are 3 movies that have been on the table almost all week. Guess we are going to be watching a few movies tomorrow. Well at least there is some nice arm muscles to see in one of them :p meh who needs a plot line with muscles to look at (I swear its all for art to see whats connected to what and how the arm moves.....ok maybe not :p) I'll admit to being shallow :D Drawing: More nekkid people :p Actually I used oil pastels to draw a horse skull and then we used turps on the pastels to move the pastels around. Pretty neat effect. The...

84/365 29.09.09 Originally uploaded by fuzzydragons I'm playing along with Jenaveve and her just a minute meme. hmm kind of hard for me to think of things for this month. Been so busy with college, I don't remember whats really happened. Reading: Finished 3 books and working on 2 more. Read Seven Ancient Wonders by Matthew Reilly, Flesh by Richard Laymon, Exit Music by Ian Rankin. Sad to say that all of them, even the Rankin book were not very good. The Rankin book was better then the other 2,but still left me feeling like something was missing from it. Sleeping :p probably not as much as I should be. hmm might have to hit myself over the head with a hammer soon :p Learning:.....not actually sure if I am. I do like my teachers a lot which makes a huge difference. I probably am learning, just too tired to think about it lol Drawing: naked people! ;) other things too, but a lot of it is too big to bring home. Working on a simple Halloween dragon and still working ...

53/365 29.08.09 Originally uploaded by fuzzydragons Watching: Merlin in all its cheesy glory :p I forgot to watch The Tudors! Need to catch up now so I can drool over Charles :p Reading: Only managed to finish two books this month, Sandstorm by Michael Asher and Seven Ancient Wonders by Matthew Reilly. Neither of which were that good :p Drawing: hmm I don't think I actually finished anything this month. Started a lot of things but never finished them. A few dragon pieces on the go and a horse plus I decided to redo my eagle piece in pointillism so I have been redrawing the line art for that. Learning: Not much right now since College just started :p But we start with life drawing, expressive drawing, intro to painting, analytical drawing and 2D design. I think my arm will be dead by the end :p Searching: For my little sketchbook I lost which is buried somewhere. And trying to find the perfect fabric to make a dress out of. I don't want it so thick that I pass out from wearing...

24/365 31.07.09 Originally uploaded by fuzzydragons I'm playing along with Jenaveve at her blog August Street for Just a minute. This month has gone by extremely fast. 365: with skeebie, who probably needs a name soon. For some crazy reason I decided to do a 365 project with my little cow. Now that I am getting in the habit of taking a picture a day its not so bad, but time will tell. :) Reading: Finished 5 books this month. I am still trying to finish The Visitor by Sheri S. Tepper. I honestly have no idea if I like the book or not. Took forever for anything to happen and moved even slower then her other books. I think this is the longest in a while it has taken me to finish a book (working on over a month) Rare Earth by Michael Asher The Time of Singing by Elizabeth Chadwick Midnight's Lair by Richard Laymon Working Wonders by Jenny Colgan Brimstone (Diogenes Trilogy, Book 1) by Douglas Preston, Lincoln Child Drawing: Managed get some art done and a few things started. A pa...

Tawny Owl making a lot of noise :p Heard this owl during the week but couldn't get a good shot of it. If we hear it again we have to remember to turn the video on so people can at least hear what the owl sounds like :) This month went by pretty fast, hardly remember what went on lol Reading: Finished a few books this month; Sepulchre by Kate Mosse Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood Mr. Darcy's Diary by Amanda Grange Futuretrack 5 by Robert Westall Really enjoyed the Atwood book, very good and interesting read. Art: I didn't manage to get a lot done artwise. Finished a tattoo commission and started on a few things. Have so many ideas sketched out or written down I don't think I will run out of things to draw for a few weeks Watching: Who's Line :D Something to watch while drawing Music: Actually my music player has been on shuffle all month. Not really listening to anything in particular,. A bit of this, a bit of that :p From Kate Nash to Nickelback (and I admit to l...

Just a Minute in May

First rose bloom Originally uploaded by fuzzydragons Another month that has flown by :) Reading: I managed to finish 3 books this month same amount as last month but I would really like to read a few more. Gone are the days its seems where I have time to read a book a day lol Labyrinth by Kate Mosse The Stake by Richard Laymon Casino Royale by Ian Fleming I am reading Sepulchre by Kate Mosse at the moment. Only a few chapters in but so far so good :) Art: So the plans this month was to participate in Everyday in May by drawing one ACEO a day. Sort of worked. Missed a few days but on the whole managed pretty well. Didn't manage to get one done today as we are busy moving things around in the living room (we have a lot of stuff....) I started on another Eagle drawing but haven't managed to get a lot done on it :/ Music: Great Big Sea still. I need new music but nothing that has come out recently has made me want to go and buy it School: Got into the portfolio course at the colle...

cornbread Originally uploaded by fuzzydragons Ok so its not over yet but its close enough :p Cooking: lots of cooking :D and lots of bread. Made cornbread finally *above* Took forever to find any cornmeal. Mr.F thinks that it taste like a cake full of sand :p Tastes fine to me lol Made toad in the hole and it actually turned out. Amazing what a stove that stays hot will do :p Reading: Only managed to get 3 books read this month :/ Bluebeard by Kurt Vonnegut, The Naming of the Dead by Ian Rankin (ack only one left to read in the series. Its odd reading a series for so long you begin to miss the characters when they are gone), and Life before Man by Margaret Attwood. The last book started out so well, and the last 60 pages were crap. Which is odd because I usually really like what she writes. I really should be doing reviews of all the books I read. Art: Finished the horse! *dances* but now I have no idea what to draw :/ So many things but I think I'm a little burnt out art wise an...
