Your sketch has a very sweet, valiant quality ... and the way the colors mingle in the vase is lovely.
Very interesting medium...glad to have you a part, even if a quickie.
Jennifer, it is not a green and pink blob! Not bad at all for a quick sketch. Remember success is in the doing. :) I have to say I was suprised how much color you got out of those few lines!
You've inspired me to want to break out my set of Inktense pencils and have a play. Lovely sweet sketch.
I think it's pretty good for a quick one. You got all the colors in and blended. Nice job. I also left it to the last minute. I hate to hurry.
This little sketch captures all the necessary information from the reference. Well done!
I love inktense pencils - they are my favourite watercolour pencil as the colours are so vivid. You have managed in double-quick time to do a lovely sketch.
I like the spontaneous quality of this! It's a great sketch, however quick :)
thanks laura :)The Inktense are great, just needs a few more colours. I need to remember to try to sketch as soon as the photo is put up lolGlad it doesn't look like a green and pink blob (well not that much). You really don't need a lot of pencil down and you get such vibrant colours even when it dries. Have fun with the Inktense pencils melissa! :)Thanks jeanne and jenette :)Thanks kari :) I think they are my fav watercolour pencil too :)
Nice little painting. Each time we sit down to paint, 'tis always a surprise, I think. How small is this? It's v sweet.
Its 3.5 by 2.5 inches :)
Sometimes those quick little sketches are all you need. Thanks for the view.
I love the lost and found edges in the wetted down version.
This is sweet and makes a lovely small card. :)
Small and cute, with a nice hard edge to the glass. Someone will be lucky to receive a greeting on this dear little card.
It makes a sweet sketch. I like the colour in the bowl.
