Virtual Sketch September

So I did a very very quick little art card for this months Virtual Sketch using Derwent Inktense pencils. Loose sketch with the pencils seen above and than wetted down.

Looks more like a green and pink blob :p Hopefully next month I don't leave it until the last minute :/

  1. Your sketch has a very sweet, valiant quality ... and the way the colors mingle in the vase is lovely.

  3. Jennifer, it is not a green and pink blob! Not bad at all for a quick sketch. Remember success is in the doing. :) I have to say I was suprised how much color you got out of those few lines!

  9. thanks laura :)

The Inktense are great, just needs a few more colours. I need to remember to try to sketch as soon as the photo is put up lol

Glad it doesn't look like a green and pink blob (well not that much). You really don't need a lot of pencil down and you get such vibrant colours even when it dries.

Have fun with the Inktense pencils melissa! :)

    Thanks jeanne and jenette :)

Thanks kari :) I think they are my fav watercolour pencil too :)
