2013 Reading Challenge

Doing another reading challenge this year, and since I read 70 books last year with a goal of 40, I thought I would up the challenge number to 50. It is so much easier to read with my phone then carry around a big book, and I can read on the bus with my phone, but can't read a physical book in a vehicle, which is odd. So if anyone has any book recommendations let me know :)

Listed the lioness on Etsy :) Would be hard to part with, but running out of room on the walls or art lol

    A reading challenge? That sounds soooo awesome! :) I am definately one of those people who can't live without books. Alas, I can't read in the car either :(
    I don't know what type of books you're into, but here are my top picks: "Dragon Slippers"(and its sequels) and "Princess of the Midnight Ball" by Jessica Day George; the "Ranger's Apprentice" and "Brotherband Chronicles" series by John Flanagan; "Heroes of Olympus" series by Rick Riordan; "Seeking Persephone" & "Courting Miss Lancaster" by Sarah M. Eden

Summer of Colour #3

This weeks colours for The Summer of Color are 2 purples and a yellow and this is what I did with them. Not my favorite colours so really racked my brain trying to think how I could use them and which bird to use. Decided to go with a juvenile Golden Eagle since I don't have any photos of a purple bird :p I think I prefer the black background, the yellow seems to stand out more against it. Which do you prefer?
