Yesterday, fatigue kicked my ass. I deal with fatigue everyday but yesterday I could hardly move. So much to do, but I couldn't hold a pencil/pen with either hand. Its not something that taking a nap can help with. Its not something meds can help with. You, at least with me, can't do much but sit on your butt and watch Netflix lol while you wait for it to go away. Not a lot of fun and very hard to explain to someone unless they have experienced it themselves. It goes beyond just being "tired like we all are". Or needing caffeine, which is actually no good for most people and will just make it worse. Take your average work day and times that by 100 and add in a concrete weight suit to the mix and you might come close to how it feels.

We went to the deer centre the other day, and John got this lucky shot of wolf looking like a dog. You could really see how dog like they can be sometimes, or how dogs sometimes act like wolves (even tho they really act differently and react to situations differently, so not good pets and probably not going to learn to sit or shake a paw :p). I am dragging myself around from the pain from 2 days ago, but saw some nice birds and probably drove the guy showing us the birds insane with all my questions lol Started another dragon today, and hopefully my pens don't run out of ink before I finish him *crosses fingers* My arm is bright red from sitting in the back drawing this, must remember sunscreen next time (my arm looks like a lobster). Number 90 left handed sketch of a Crowned Pigeon . I have seen these in zoos, another striking bird with a crest.

I have no idea what kind of bird this is, some kind of Warbler but no idea which one and I have tried to find out but can't find any images that match the purple blue colour it is. And half of a Golden Pheasant for #89. Still sketching these with my left hand because my right elbow still starts to hurt if I do to much with it. The doctors plan is to have a steroid injection in my elbow, start physio very slowly and hope that helps. If not, the test will continue :/ If I manage to get more of these done, I'm seriously looking at putting a book together documenting the process. Will be easier to see the progression with all of the sketches together.

I know I have drawn a toucan before, but I just really like them. don't make very good pets tho, can be pretty messy eaters. One version of a finished monogram. I plan on using it on a new website design and maybe on new business cards but not 100% sure if I will use this or see what another version might look like. I wanted an old inked look to it, one that might be easy to carve if I want to make a stamp with it too.

Still reading War and Peace lol Its taking a long time because I'm only reading it really when its nice outside and I can sit in the sun. Its a big bloody book but I am enjoying it. The Red Headed League by Arthur Conan Doyle My rating: 3 of 5 stars Better then the last story, not as predictable and a more interesting mystery. Very fast read, more info about the "bad guy" would have been nice tho. I will keep reading in the hopes of discovering why people like Holmes so much as a character, because besides the first novel, I can't figure out why. The above bird is supposed to be a Gallinule , which I've never drawn before so looks a little odd lol A Magpie for #82. I should have written down all of the birds I've drawn so far because I will probably end up drawing a few birds over again because I've forgotten which birds I've already drawn lol
