I is Dog....Honest!!
We went to the deer centre the other day, and John got this lucky shot of wolf looking like a dog. You could really see how dog like they can be sometimes, or how dogs sometimes act like wolves (even tho they really act differently and react to situations differently, so not good pets and probably not going to learn to sit or shake a paw :p). I am dragging myself around from the pain from 2 days ago, but saw some nice birds and probably drove the guy showing us the birds insane with all my questions lol
Started another dragon today, and hopefully my pens don't run out of ink before I finish him *crosses fingers* My arm is bright red from sitting in the back drawing this, must remember sunscreen next time (my arm looks like a lobster).
Number 90 left handed sketch of a Crowned Pigeon. I have seen these in zoos, another striking bird with a crest.

Love your sketches...nice work on the detailing.
ReplyDeleteI see wolves as my totem animal...love them!
Thanks Serena :) John got some really nice shots of the wolves there so will def be trying to draw the gorgeous animals :)
ReplyDeleteWow, amazing shot of the wolf! And that dragon. What a beauty.
ReplyDeleteCrowned pigeon is really cool. Can't believe you're at #90!
thanks Chris :) I can't believe I am at 90 either, going to have to celebrate if I hit 100 lol :)
ReplyDeleteVery cool post! Great photo of the wolf, not too easy to catch a good pic of one. Don't they look so sweet...not like they are really wild and would tear us apart if we got too close. I like your drawings and cannot believe you can sketch in a car. That would make me sick for the rest of the trip. I am always amazed at artist who can create when they are passengers in a car. You gained my respect :-) Happy PPF! Hugz, Rasz
ReplyDeletenice shot of that wolf! And your sketches are super Jennifer. I'm especially looking forward to seeing the finished crowned pigeon. Happy PPF and hope you have a pain free weekend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wolf! Love these creatures ... And your new dragon sketch is looking great already! Sorry to hear about your pain, hope it'll leave you alone now! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove your pigeon..that bird series is so cool!! Great photo!
ReplyDeleteHugs Giggles
A very nice photo. I am excited to see your finished dragon. You create them with such awe. Your left handed art is always inspiring.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, look at that dragon! I hope you'll show us again when it's finished! Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteGreat dragon and left-handed sketch :) And the wolf! We saw a small pack of 4 one-year-olds during our trip to Savannah (in a nature preserve/wildlife area). One large black one had something to eat and the others wanted it - WOW! They were really ferocious!! Didn't sound like any dogs I've ever heard and make your KNOW they are wild animals. This photo is great and I hope to see sketches of one or more soon? I hope you are feeling relatively pain-free and upbeat this weekend and have some sunshine!
ReplyDeleteWolves are gorgeous animals, it's a lovely shot! The dragon is amazing and I love the bird too.
ReplyDeleteRasz, these weren't done in the car, I can sketch in the car tho but cant read. its very odd.
ReplyDeletethanks Linda :) I might finish the pigeon but he might just stay like this. depends on if I can bother getting any paints out lol
