"a song that makes you feel guilty" I have racked my mind trying to think of a song that makes me feel guilty, and I can't think of a song that makes me feel guilty. Music makes me feel a lot of emotions, but it doesn't make me feel guilty. I am even having a hard time thinking of a song about guilt. Guilt is just not something I really think about, life is too damn short to feel guilty and to dwell on it. "a song that you wish you could play" I love the music for this movie. "a song that you can play on an instrument" I use to be able to play this, and if push came to shove I can still play the first few bars from memory and the rest if the sheet music was in front of me. "a song that you want to play at your wedding" Well this is what we were going to play at our wedding, if I had not of been so tired and fed up with the day :p Just wanted to sleep after everything was done. So Mr.F built me a new desk as the old one was starting to get, well old :p This thing isn't moving, Ever :p Made up from parts of the old desk and left over counter tops from the inlaws new kitchen. Works really well and its recycling rather than chucking the counter top in the skip :) hmm now I really should organize those shelves :p

"a song that you wish you heard on the radio" I wish I could hear something by Seether on the radio here, but so far, nada. Very odd cloud formation in the sky that had more than one person wondering WTH was causing it.

"a song that you hear often on the radio" I don't actually listen to the radio as most of the time I think its crap and they always play the same song over and over again anyway :/ If I think about it, when we are in the car this is usually what shows up on the radio... I am more likely to just put my laptop on random or turn on mr.F's as he has enough music to play for 45 days straight :p No point turning on the radio and listening to something you can't stand when you can pick and choose something you want to listen to. day1 , day 2, day 3, day 4 , day 5 , day 6 , day 7 , day 8, day 9, day 10, day 11 , day 12 , day 13 , day 14 , day 15, day 16 And Mr.F is a year older today :) Still has most of his hair and hasn't gone completely senile yet :p

"a song that you used to hate but now love" I think I hated it before because it was on the radio so much and I just got sick of hearing it. Guess a few years of not hearing a song can change a feeling towards it. day1 , day 2, day 3, day 4 , day 5 , day 6 , day 7 , day 8, day 9, day 10, day 11 , day 12 , day 13 , day 14 , day 15 A gorgeous sunny day and what do I do? Go to a graveyard to take photos and make some grave rubbings. I wish I had of taken more pictures of this place last year as a lot of the stones have really not done well over the last year. Ones that I could read a year ago, the fronts have completely crumbled away on them now. I haven't made any rubbings off of graves for a long time, really like the effects you can get. Used some coloured pencil sticks that I really have no use for so decided to try them. hmm they worked all right, I think crayons might have worked better tho.

Been messing around with colour lately, using colours I normally wouldn't. A lot of neons used on this, so its much brighter in person then here. I sprayed it with hairspray as this is done on sandpaper and was smudging really badly. I forgot that when you spray neons with any type of fixative they change colour :p oops So some of the colours look like they are under a black light., very trippy :p

But I do like how this turned out. Its very simple but I think it works well :) If I could only use pallet knives when painting I think I would enjoy it more (or my fingers. but painting with oils and using your fingers is frowned on :p)

This weeks Flickr Favourite is the Imperial Eagle . I love big Raptors and love coming across one I had never heard of before, so decided this would be this weeks animal. I thought that by featuring an animal every week for a favourite that I might show people an animal that they might have never heard of before, but its also nice to find one that I haven't either :) 1. "a song from your favorite band" This was an easy one :) I have loved this band since I first heard them... oh gods over 15 years ago.  Had to go to the hospital to get an injection into my jaw. The injection itself didn't hurt, but the numbing shot friggin did! o.0 Very close to turning the air blue during that. Mr.F watched, but had to turn away once as he said he was going to be ill (don't blame him at all, would be creepy seeing the needle going in my face). Couldn't blink for a few hours after on my right side, that is a very very odd feeling. Needing to blink, but you can't. "your favourite cover song" I couldn't pick just one cover, there are so many covers that I love that I couldn't choose just one, so I was looking around on Youtube and came across this women. " a song that you can dance to" I can't dance, at all :p No really. I have 2 left feet on a good day :p But whenever I hear Shakira I want to get up and dance (and might dance when no one is looking, and fall a few times too :p). Never mind she sounds like a goat sometimes, a lot of her music is very catchy. "a song that you know all the words to" I grew up listening to all kinds of music, but I think this song is the first song that I learned the words to and even after not hearing it for years I still knew the words. Music was always around growing up, mom listened to anything from Buddy Holly and Steve Earle, and then went on to listen to Danzig :p So we were raised to listen to what you like, not just whats popular. "a song that reminds you of a certain event" hmm I actually found it hard to think of an event and a song that reminds me of that event but, Canada Day (July 1st) is an event and this song would remind me of it :p Check out their other songs, worth a laugh :) day1 , day 2, day 3, day 4 , day 5 , day 6 You know spring has finally sprung when the daffys start showing up :D Its gorgeous out, nice and sunny, but for some reason I decided to start a crochet blanket. A song that reminds you of somewhere...well whenever I hear this song I think of New Zealand. Mr.F had his iriver on shuffle and it would come up a lot. Many a car trip was passed singing along to Crowded House :) I just want to be back there when I hear this, ok I could deal without the 20 hour plus flight, but I would still love to go back (I know...I say this a lot lol :p) day1 , day 2, day 3,  day 4 , day 5

A song that reminds me of someone...had to pick Mr.F and 2 songs (he also listens to a lot of music). So its theme week for Flickr Favourites and the theme/challenge is to make a fashionable mosaic, but I still want to stick to my animal theme. There are a lot of animals that I could have picked (hummingbirds would probably have been easier), but I decided to pick the Hoatzin .   1. Hoatzin , 2. Hoatzin , 3. Hoatzin , 4. Hoatzin (Opisthocomus hoazin) I think they are neat looking birds that look pretty fashionable with their blue faces and poofy head dresses :p yeah its a bit of a stretch on the theme :p For more favourites, head over here :)

A song that makes me sad. I prefer her version over Sting's, its more eerie and sad I think. Crows have been showing up a lot lately in my life. OK so one could argue that they are everywhere here :p but we did have to help rescue an injured one, one landed a foot from me and just stood watching me (wish I had of had the camera then), and so many individual people have suggested draw crows when I ask them what I should draw. So I had to draw a crow :p I want to use this for another CP drawing, just need to add a tombstone or 2. hmmm I wonder what Sky would think of a crow for a friend?..... day1 , day 2, day 3,

Picking a song that makes me happy is hard because when you know the lyrics to some of the songs that do make me happy, it makes me look a little crazy lol And it is very hard picking only one song that makes me happy, and I really couldn't say what makes me happy when listening to a song. I hate, Hotel California by the Eagles. Blame one of the town drunks in Taber for playing it over and over again and trying to sing it on karaoke night :/ He played it so much it was removed from the jukebox. So as soon as I hear the first chord, I run away :p Day 1
