Falcon Update #7

Image
Started to add some shading to the head and the neck. Need to darken and smooth out the right side (looking at the screen). Still needs more shading but want to get more of the feather detail done on the lower part of the neck area.

Character face designs for a comic idea I had when I was around 15 so this was drawn probably in 1996 if I am doing the math right lol I still sort of remember the idea, very heavily Ancient Egypt influenced, and if I had spare time I could probably make a comic but I'm more likely to draw dog comics than this since it would be a lot of drawing, inking and colouring and dog comics would be easier lol

Dragon Artist Update #2

Image
Still working on my little dragon artist. Slow going but its getting there. I see a few things I need to change here, the shadows are a bit too much in some points but that is an easy fix. Hopefully have this finished soon depending on my vision playing nicely.

The Divine Invasion by Philip K. Dick My rating: 3 of 5 stars 3.5 stars not a book for people looking for a typical science fiction book. More of a philosophy/theology book than what people think science fiction should be, (space ships and aliens), but it still makes you question what is real like most PKD books do and how does everything that exists fit together. View all my reviews   The Transmigration of Timothy Archer by Philip K. Dick My rating: 3 of 5 stars This book while considered the third book in the Valis trilogy just doesn't seem to fit with the other two. yes it deals with religious matters, so it has that in common but don't read it thinking it will wrap up the storylines in the other two. thats not what PKD does, he justs creates more questions lol Its a good story, tad depressing in parts but it makes you think about life a lot View all my reviews   Jennifer's bookshelf: currently-reading

Falcon Update #6

Image
So many small changes you probably don't notice them lol added more feathers to the neck area, a bit of shading around the beak and an outline to his/her head. You can see the changes better here, might be a bit fast though lol

3D Practice

Image
Just some quick practice since I am busy reading some novels and a lot of journal articles at the moment so didn't have much time today to do anything else but read lol

Art from 2003 for a rainbow dragon zoo. I really want to redraw this, but need to finish other things first before I start anything else.

Dragon Artist

Image
Here is the rough start of a dragon artist, cute but slightly angry looking. This needs a lot or work still and I only tend to work on it when my hand is too numb for etching.

Fleet of Knives by Gareth L. Powell My rating: 5 of 5 stars Another entertaining piece of science fiction. Love the character interactions and the language doesn't seem forced. And love all the names Nod has for Trouble Dog, made me laugh. View all my reviews Jennifer's bookshelf: currently-reading The Exegesis of Philip K. Dick by Philip K.
