Image

I'm at 10211 words out of 18000/19000 but it will need A LOT of editing before its completed, printed and handed in online and two copies to uni.

Sky dog ruptured her cruciate!

Image
So just got the bad news that Sky has ruptured her cruciate on her left hind leg, quote for the surgery £1700 (!) in the words of the vet "its a 'smidge' more than the last surgery, last surgery was £1100, so a bit more than a smidge...... So if anyone can share our gofundme to try and offset the cost of Sky's surgery that would be great (though donations would nice also, though if you can't or don't want to, thats fine also- Scottish saying - Shy bairns get nae sweeties) Link here: https://www.gofundme.com/sky-dog-needs-cruciate-surgery Thanks in advance

Music Monday

Catatonia - Road Rage 1990s Welsh band, weird to think this came out over 20 years ago.

Falcon Update #10

Image
A small update on the body feathers and more shading to the sides. I added a bit of shadow below the beak area so that looks a lot better. I would have had more done today but I had a molar pulled and it hurts. I broke off and the dentist had to cut the roots from my jaw. I actually didn't think he would be able to pull it since I can't open my mouth that much due to the metal jaw joints, but he managed it since he a very good dentist. My teeth are crap lol

Throwback Thursday Horse

Image
A coloured pencil horse done in 2008. Simple looking but not that simple to do if I remember correctly lol

Falcon Update #9

Image
Added some more shading so the side bit isn't looking as flat as it was but it def needs more work. The white line down the middle of the face isn't on the plate, its just on the piece of paper I used to scan this lol

Falcon Update #8

Image
Started to work more on darker feathers, a lot more of them to go before its even close to being finished. I really need to work on the right side, it looks too flat here so needs some shading.

Throwback Thursday Big Bird

Image
A big blue bird from 2007 done with coloured pencils, Derwent Coloursofts if I am remembering right. I think the colours pop pretty well considering I hadn't put down a layer of white to make the colours brighter over the black paper. Cassowarys are pretty big bloody angry looking birds.

Youtube Opening

opening from fuzzydragons on Vimeo . Decided to make an opening credit for any Youtube art videos I decide to make. It still needs sound and I'm thinking maybe somethinig pirate theme but will have to see what I can find. There is a lot of free music I could use and the dissertation comes first before any videos.

Throwback Thursday

Image
Flamingo art from 2009, done with I think coloured pencil and Neocolor II crayons. I could be wrong, but it does look like the crayons were used instead of watercolour. I really should use those crayons more, the colours are gorgeous.
