Christmas Red Deer Stag

Image
Zazzle Store Redbubble Store Finished Xmas Red Deer stag. Really happy with how he turned out and I was going to add a light dusting of snow to him but could always do that in the future if I think it needs some snow but the lights are enough for now :)

Throwback Thursday

Image
A pair of tiny owls from 2008 for throwback Thursday. If I am remembering right these owl are only about 3 and a bit inches tall so not a lot of space for detail, which is why I tend to work bigger now. Takes longer to create something when it is bigger but it allows me all the detail I want.

Weekly Book Wrap Up

Image
The Power by Naomi Alderman My rating: 1 of 5 stars I don't get the praise for this book. Its clunky and both the plot and characters feel forced. yes I get it, power corrupts no matter who has the power, but it all seems forced down our throats here. View all my reviews   Unsafe Haven by Frank Tayell My rating: 2 of 5 stars 2.5 Better than the first 3, probably because Bill is not around. Some of the characters are written as throw away characters, which makes sense as they are just there to be bitten but the main character is written well, you do understand why she does what she does to survive. Another book to read when you don't want to think and just want to read something for fun. Mystery Tool

Image
I have no idea what this is. It was in a box with clay and stained glass tool but that doesn't mean it is for any of those mediums. It open but does not stay open, like it is supposed to hold something in the jaws, but no idea what. Any ideas?

Throwback Thursday Art

Image
A decoration I made for our wedding in 2005. Made out of Sculpey and a coat hanger lol for support and then a bunch of crystals thrown into the mix. Ether due to the age of the thing or how dry it is in the house, thin parts are breaking off, its probably its age causing the problem. This is actually heavier than it looks, doesn't weigh pounds but def has a bit of heft to it and would hurt if thrown at someone lol

No More Music Monday

I am discontinuing music monday forthwith. I have made this decision as its no longer fun due to the music being analysed, which removes  my interest in doing it. I may yet delete all previous posts. Sorry to those who were enjoying it, but thats just the world we live in today seemingly. Mr Fuzzy.
