Throwback Thursday Big Bird

A big blue bird from 2007 done with coloured pencils, Derwent Coloursofts if I am remembering right. I think the colours pop pretty well considering I hadn't put down a layer of white to make the colours brighter over the black paper. Cassowarys are pretty big bloody angry looking birds.

    My hats off to you managing to get the glow with colored pencil. Not easy at all. In fact you did it so well that one of the comments above said it was digital...wrong!
