Fuzzydragons

 This is around 26 years old, no date on it, but it is one of my really early coloured pencil practice pieces.

 A very sad looking Mastiff sketch that for some reason I didn't finish. Makes me want to start doing more pet portraits looking at this.

A copy of a drawing I did in 2003 of an Australian Cattle Dog. The original was used as a prize at an ACD event as my boss at the dog groomers bred and still does breed them.

Reduction lino practice from around 2014 Kept it to just 2 colours, so very simple.

  Iwas messing around with the Chine Collé technique on lino prints, not perfect but I should try again.

Another etching from 2014 for throwback thursday. This plate is destroyed, it melted after attempting to clean it with solvent (note to self polystyrene plates do not like solvents) so no more prints of this.

More printmaking art from 2014. This one was a reduction lino cut which I still need practice at once I get a better registration system for aligning colours.

Another  drypoint etching from college from 2014. I did add a light wash of watercolour to it as the lines were not going to bleed being oil based printing ink.

A pair of tiny owls from 2008 for throwback Thursday. If I am remembering right these owl are only about 3 and a bit inches tall so not a lot of space for detail, which is why I tend to work bigger now. Takes longer to create something when it is bigger but it allows me all the detail I want.

A decoration I made for our wedding in 2005. Made out of Sculpey and a coat hanger lol for support and then a bunch of crystals thrown into the mix. Ether due to the age of the thing or how dry it is in the house, thin parts are breaking off, its probably its age causing the problem. This is actually heavier than it looks, doesn't weigh pounds but def has a bit of heft to it and would hurt if thrown at someone lol

More coloured pencil mirror work from around 2007. The gumballs look more like marbles lol A close up chowing the paper and pencil texture. Done on Murano paper with Prismacolors I think.

Throwback art from 2006 done with coloured pencil on Murano paper. I think this was me trying to figure out what fur texture would look like on this paper and it does work well for fur, but it is a type of paper that does not take many layers of pencil.

A dragon Halloween piece from 2006. This was probably done with Prismacolor pencils on Stonehenge paper, (which I hate). I should have made the pumpkin face scarier.

A Sculpy dragon done in 2009.It is a bit of a rough paint job, I didn't have an airbrush at the time but I like how the blue works. I miss sculpting stuff, but I really don't have the time or money at the moment to buy more Sculpy. I took some spare rocks/crystals I had and used them to try to add a bit of different textures to it, just made it heavier lol.

A cute Throwback Thursday from 2006 of some stuffed bears. Done in colour pencils on Bristol type paper if I am remembering correctly. These bears were turned into chew toys for the dog, so are no more lol

A scarab done with coloured pencil from around 2008? Not 100% sure of the date but its around there. I do like how delicate this one looks.
