A tiny rabbit button for todays sketch. I really need to vector this in Illustrator, its too cute not to :D

Day 15 of Inktober and todays sketch is a balti bowl. The ellipses once again are drivin me nuts lol I am going to keep trying to  get them right tho.

Wiped out walking the dog :/ I am all black and blue on my left side, so sitting down and drawing is a bit uncomfortable. I just hope that I don't end up having a MS relapse caused by the fall, as trauma like a hard fall can bring one on :/ I need to start a calender and mark all the days that go by where I don't fall on my ass...I think a week was the longest I've gone without falling down :p I am such a clutz

I have tried to read this book over a dozen times, but its just sooo damn boring I can't finish it :/ I keep making myself try to read it, so many other pagans swear by it that I think maybe I am just missing something, so keep punishing myself :p I just can't seem to get more than a third into the book before giving up and falling asleep. Maybe I am missing something, I don't think I am, but there must be something about this book that has caused a spark in so many people, I just can't figure it out why. I will more than likely keep trying to finish this, at least then I could honestly say its crap and give reasons or I might actually enjoy it by the end. hmm will have to wait and see. And a small update on the dahlia. The other flower shouldn't take that long since its faded out and isn't all that detailed.

Finished drawing of Sky. It wont fit on my scanner, so a photo of it will have to do for now. I would love a bigger scanner, but its either find the space for a bigger scanner or a couch to sit on :p

Too red? It probably wont be as red as it is on the box, but the bottom of the shower stall will probably look like a cow was killed in the bathroom tomorrow :p And a sketch for what I hope will be a painting. Its not that I don't like to paint, I'm just not very good at it lol so I end up getting frustrated and chucking paint brushes at the walls.

You are never too old to make snow angels, but I did remember after I did this that when I was a kid, I was usually wearing a snow suit, so couldn't get snow down the back of my clothes....brrr very cold Sky loves the snow, acts more crazy in the park (never thought that was possible). Its all gone now, and we are stuck with gale force winds and rain. Great. Its going to be like a giant ice rink tomorrow if it freezes. I wouldn't mind going ice skating actually, but its been over 15 years since I was skating last, and somehow I don't think its like riding a bike. I don't feel like falling on my ass every two feet when I have sharp blades strapped to my feet :p And almost finished :D Just need to darken it and then spray with fixative. I have been trying to find a frame for this the last week but because of the size they are not cheap :/

So Mr.F (computer guru and wannabe mad scientist/Tim The Toolman Taylor :P ) has decided my laptop needs some "upgrades" and maintenance (well the dvd drive had already packed up...again!!) and has taken the 6 million dollar man as an inspiration for his next project. So from the parts bin comes, faster memory, better processor and new DVD writer, along with a cleaned out CPU cooler (damn dust and dog hair!!) So an HP PITA gives my laptop new life and slightly improved longevity. Hmm I look like one of those creepy 50's housewives / ancient aunts trying to foist a bizarre traybake onto visitors ;-)

new book to read Originally uploaded by fuzzydragons Finished Feed, good book :) Going to write a review and post it in a few days. I read enough, I should really review some of the books, not that everything I read is good or even remotely worth the tree that was killed to make the book. Hopefully the reviews are more then me just saying this book was crap :p I am always looking for books to read, so if anyone has any suggestions please suggest :) And this is one reason we think she is crazy :p

hmmm might need to steal a boat soon to survive if it keeps raining :p On the plus side, most of the snow is melting. The downside is all the water, which hasn't helped the sewers on the block. They are so clogged with garbage inside and flowing with water that it smells like someone crawled in there to die (you know, that horrible dead rotten mouse smell you can get, and you spend days trying to find it until you find that the cat has hidden it in one of your shoes in the back of the closet? Kind of like that, but much much worse. blagh its not pleasant.) Hopefully it is getting fixed tomorrow *crosses fingers* I need a belt :p 13/365 and haven't run out of ideas yet *crosses fingers again* I have been drawing, but mostly little tumbnails for picture ideas and tonal studies, so they are pretty boring. Did manage a bit of work on the dahlia tho: Petals are going to be the death of me.

Actually, no. No more snow. I am sick of falling on my butt and dealing with the cold. It was great when it first snowed, but enough is enough. Of course when it is nice and hot out, I will probably get sick of that too :p I use to wonder why people talked so much about the weather here, but now I don't. I do it myself now :p About another 1.5 hours of work later.... A few more petals coloured but when they are all done, I will still have to go back over them to darken the values and push the petals in the back to the back with some blues. Will probably darken the green background as well, as I think its a bit too light right now. I've been debating whether or not to try and apply to Uni again. I did actually have a place last year but certain things happened and I ended up not going. The only problem this year is that the application requires a reference that isn't a friend or family member, I don't have one. I don't have a teacher this year that could be a refe...

Sadly they are not mutlicoloured like this :(, which would be really cool :p They are still really neat to see tho. I really like working in ink, should really sketch more often with my pens :)
