Bonfire Material?

I have all kinds of pieces of printed paper left over from experimenting with the Gelli Plate that I have no idea what to do with. Some, like this one, I really like, others I should probably put in the bonfire pile. Well, I would if we had a bonfire.

I really think a lot of the art I have done in college over the last few years would make good burning material...should burn pretty well due to all the turps :p

    Here, I call them ready for recycling. Sometimes it is exactly those that spark something new. Save the ones that seem 'not quite finished' or 'not quite right' that speak to you, and then when you are 'between' projects, sit with them and see what happens. This one looks perfect for pen & ink, but that's what I would do, not you.

      i did think about adding some ink to it, develop some areas i like :)

Summer of Colour #3

This weeks colours for The Summer of Color are 2 purples and a yellow and this is what I did with them. Not my favorite colours so really racked my brain trying to think how I could use them and which bird to use. Decided to go with a juvenile Golden Eagle since I don't have any photos of a purple bird :p I think I prefer the black background, the yellow seems to stand out more against it. Which do you prefer?
