A piece of driftwood. Sometimes the beaches are full of driftwood, but of course the days I go to look for some for a project, there is none to be found.
Looks a bit like a bone, too :) I wish I lived somewhere close to a beach to pick up treasures now and again - nothing here but leaves and branches and acorns...of course, those are treasures, too; I'm just a little jealous of anyone living close to the sea.
the North Sea is about 20 minutes away, nice sandy beaches but the water can be a bit cold, and dead jellyfish and the occasional whale :/ (a whale bone would be great to have tho :p)
My poor neglected blog! I just keep forgeting and running out of time in the day to post anything. I will try to post at least a few times a week *crossign fingers*
Rudolph :) One of many kids toys that are now the dog's. For a lot of her toys, we've found that toys meant for kids seem to last longer than ones meant for dogs. And are often a lot cheaper :p
Love this sketch! It does sometimes seem to be easier to find things when not looking...
ReplyDeletethanks Lisa :) yeah that always happens or after you have gone and bought something already
DeleteI love driftwood. How lucky you are to live there!
ReplyDeletebut lots of dead jelly fish on the beach to deal with :/
