Prompt #18 is Mistake or Lesson. This could be either, remember to properly clean your printing plates or they will end up looking like this, which is fine if you are done printing with the plate, but I wasn't lol

    Definitely a lesson (not a mistake). I'm just amazed how diverse your artwork is. do you have a favourite genre? (that's my post word for the day)! You've worked with so many mediums and tools ... puts me to shame. LOL.

      Sue, I love printmaking but don't have a press I can use any more. Some people think its a bad thing working in too many mediums, I just think it gives me options lol

Summer of Colour #3

This weeks colours for The Summer of Color are 2 purples and a yellow and this is what I did with them. Not my favorite colours so really racked my brain trying to think how I could use them and which bird to use. Decided to go with a juvenile Golden Eagle since I don't have any photos of a purple bird :p I think I prefer the black background, the yellow seems to stand out more against it. Which do you prefer?
