April Blogging from A to Z Challenge 'O', 'P', 'Q'

Catching up on the A-Z challenge now that I have one essay done and another half done. Vision is still messed up but I have an appointment to get that looked at next week. Its optic neuritis, just a really bad case of it since the vision from my right eye is pretty fuzzy and it is like I am only seeing out of half of it.

Anyway, 'O' is for oil paints which I haven't used in years since they set of my asthma but  I might try to paint outside and see what happens.

'P' is for pastels. I have A LOT of pastels. There is a giant tub full of them so wont need to buy any for a long time if ever lol

I'm cheating a bit with this one. 'Q' is for QWERTY. I do use my keyboard with digital art so it could be counted as an art supply if you stretch your imagination a bit.

Such brilliant colours! I smiled when you said you can’t use oils, maybe try them outside lol, I just said the same thing this week, I miss working in oils but my asthma has worsened and no longer can tolerate any petroleum products or strong smells, acyrilics I can no longer use either, or markers, so I told my husband I wanted to try painting outside again, I did try a few summers ago but it still bothered me, I hope it doesn’t bother you, I also positioned a fan to keep the air blowing away from me but it still didn’t work, I wish for you success, asthma is no fun but this challenge of yours sounds like lots of fun!

    1. Laurie, hubby say to try a ABEK1 respirator, might help block the vapours. Hubby is really allergic to perfumes/air freshners/dust mites/grass/birch pollen and sadly the dog so she's our first and last :/

    1. thanks Lisa :) too bad about the asthma, one option is anti histamines / steroid nasal sprays (hubby is on both due to his allergies. Whats really helped him is a spray called DyMista which also has an anti histamine.
I'm going to try an ABEK1 filter mask to see if that helps me

  5. Good work on Q. I am allergic to linseed oil in the oil paints. I got some M. Graham paints, they are made with walnut oil so I can use them. I just get tired of waiting for paint to dry! Hope you get the vision straightened out. Bummer.
