There is an art challenge going around on twitter and instagram where you take a selfie of yourself and make a toon version of yourself with half of the photo. I'm going to create the dog next as I have more practice making cartoon animals over making cartoon humans lol

    so you actually trace over half the face?
    Do a lot of digital artist paint over an image already on the screen? I have no idea but it sure explains how some have what I thought were superb drawing skills. Looks like a fun Challenge.

      for this challenge i did just trace over half the image but i dont when digitally painting anything else. i might draw something digitally but its no different from using a pencil. not sure about how other people work digitally but for me its just like painting or using a pen, from sketch to final work (no tracing for me, but other people might):)

This weeks colours for The Summer of Color are 2 purples and a yellow and this is what I did with them. Not my favorite colours so really racked my brain trying to think how I could use them and which bird to use. Decided to go with a juvenile Golden Eagle since I don't have any photos of a purple bird :p I think I prefer the black background, the yellow seems to stand out more against it. Which do you prefer?
