Just messing around with some cheap markers and posca pens :)

For Sale Another work for the Virtual Paintout . This time a stone elephant from one of the many temples in Cambodia. This was going to be just gouache but then it looked too abstract and needed a bit of detail, so grabbed the conte from under the futon to try to make it look less like a grey and green blob lol

So this is the Harris Hawk finished without the pen added to it. Looks OK, maybe a little unfinished to me, but just incase I messed up before taking pen to it I decided to be safe and scan it. Prints For Sale  And after the pen lines. I think this worked well, helped to make the work look finished. And a simple GIF showing the difference.

The mask I made a few weeks ago was used for this project. Create a fake poster for a show on Netflix. Had to watch the show for research lol Might change the text for this since I do have some wax letters I can try and see what they might look like, but over all I am happy with the way it looks.

Finished the mask for Uni. Its dark, but the show is dark, and the main character is always getting his ass kicked, hence all the red. Now I need to get "proper" photos of it and design a poster for the show from the photos. But not going to Uni tomorrow, trip to the dentist is called for since my tooth is killing me. Just pull the thing already :p

For one of our Graphics projects we need to make a 3D model, photograph it, then make a poster from the photo. We picked from a selection of tv shows on Netflix from a cup and my second choice was DareDevil (had no idea what show my first pick was :p). All I could think of to make was a mask. Obvious, but it works. This is the start of the mask, looks a little too cat like here but I still need to add more clay/plaster to it and cut off the chin area and a bit from the top so its not so round. Hopefully after some concrete effect spray paint and fake blood it looks less cat like :p Or the blood might make it look more cat like, viscous little bastards ;p

Can't remember if I posted this before, I know I didn't post the photos since they are new. For a Uni project we had to create a dystopia or a utopia  and then something from that world.I created a  planet were squirrels are the dominant species, but its still a tribal civilization and different squirrel species fight each other. I think I just wanted to draw/create something cute lol He has a little spear :p Made a little table and lined the inside with what ever twigs I could find in the winter :p

No Canadian Word of the Week this Sunday because I feel blagh and have an ear infection so can't tell if I am yelling at the camera :p So here is some more Canadian themed art instead.

My little tribal squirrel :p We had to create a world for a project and I created a planet where squirrels are the dominant species :) I wish I had of had more time to actually sew a squirrel stuffed animal but I could in the future. Could use all kinds of colourful fuzzy fabric to make one lol Changed the feathers and added a little spear to him. It will be in a box surrounded by a bunch of sticks and possibly lit up with a little LED if it looks ok when lit up.  I was going to have a flying squirrel as well decorated, but once again ran out of time. I went for cute and fluffy for the project as I didn't really want to go the dark dystopian route which is really common for people to do.

Having a hard time deciding on the layout for this word. There is the simple just laid out how its spelt..., jumbled up..., or tall like a tree :p Leaning towards the last one, but not sure if its too cheesy or too arty for a design module.

Sort of Landscape/Seascape painting done in 3D I wish I could have made it bigger, 3 times this size at least but would have been a pain in the butt to move around and I'm going to have a hard enough time at this size trying to find a place to put it lol. I need to put a coat of matt varnish/medium on it to try to tone down the shine a little bit, it really sparkles when the light hits it, maybe a it too much sparkle.

  More art made from my MRI. Kind of hard to get photos of this, looks better with a bright light behind it, but then that causes reflections on the plexi-glass.   I decided I wanted to paint one of the scans but paint different parts of my brain in different colours and on different sheets to try to give a better sense of the layers in a brain. This is def. a piece that look so much better in person lol and you do get a better sense of layers when viewed in front of you rather then in a photo.

I am not done with these, done with the class, but they still need something... Was thinking song lyrics or some poem. (when the teacher saw this one, said it could also work if my theme was bondage :p) But haven't found one that I like and think fits them well.

Careful! Give her treats or she fires :p Finished Ipod case :D Really like how it turned out. Wanted a worn look for it and I think I did a good job getting that.

  For Sale I have no idea why I am producing works of art like this, but I like them :p
