Ravens

A double page spread from one of my sketchbooks. With a plate on the right, ready to be printed but I don't have a press to print it. hmmm if only I had an extra few thousand pounds and room for a press :p

  1. If I had a few extra thousand pounds (??!!) I'd like a kiln. We have a local lady (Alma) who fuses glass and makes wonderful pendants and little glass fish and bird ornaments. and just think of all the wine bottles I could recycle that way LOL

  3. Snap! Sketchbook birds for both of us.

I LOVE ravens, I have a nesting pair that hang out by my kitchen for most of the day. And SMART! They put the dog to shame. Corvus coronoides – is the Aussie Raven - one hell of a bird!

  4. Forgot to say that the totems look AWESOME. Re: a press, can you jig something up with a steel BBQ plate? You can buy them at the hardware store. One of our calligraphy members was selling her roll press cheap - $250, but I wasn't quick enough - bugger.
